About Us
Aim
Our aim is to eradicate diabetes with a preventive approach through focused interventions on adolescents girls.
Objectives
1. To create awareness of diabetes and related complications with the help of available, possible and suitable tools.
2. To design and implement educational protocols, training programs, workshops, seminars for diabetes prevention, reversal and rehabilitation.
3. To conceptualize and implement educational (applied and fundamental) certificate, diploma and degree and above courses for diabetes and its complications.
4. To design fundamental and applied research programs on diabetes and related complications and publish research and popular articles.
Ganesh Kala Krida Center for 120 bedded Covid care facility
LifeLine Project
- The second wave of covid 19 has severely hit our part of state making lives miserable and helpless.
- The existent healthcare facilities are overwhelmed with patients.
- We have treated covid 19 patients closely till date but creating more infrastructure for better covid care is the need of the hour.
- Our mission was to start covid care facilities in the city to tide over the crisis. The PMC offered a space at the Ganesh Kala Krida center for 120 bedded Covid care facility.
- We have set up the unit with the help of PMC, Sakal Social Foundation, Anesthesia Associates Criti Care, Jnana Prabodhini Yuvak vibhag, NMV Alumni, Jnana Prabodhini Alumni and many other well-wishers through their CSR funds and service.
- We have experts in the field of medicine, anesthesia, cardiology, Infectious diseases experts as a part of this project
More information
Focus of this project is on female population because we want to educate female population so that they will take care of themselves as well as two generations, two families.
Total 604 screening done in this project of which 103 are Male and 501 are Female.
We have found 65% normal BSL, 25% have pre diabetes, 10 %have diabetes in total 604 screening data.

To offer basic nutritional and lifestyle advice to the needy population with health awareness talk
Food For Needy
Kapila Nari jointly with Tribal Mensa Nurturing Program (Non-profit organization in Pune) helped underprivileged women admitted for delivery in Government Hospitals AND to women in red light area.
In this initiative, we had provided 100 Lunch boxes in the red-light area of Pune and 25 lunch boxes to government hospitals for underprivileged women admitted there for delivery.
Kapila Nari provided funds to Vijay Patwardhan Foundation for total 125 female artists: onstage, backstage, technicians etc. in the time of Covid pandemic when theatres were closed.
Funded amount was for their necessities like grocery kit, free vaccination, some cash for paying their monthly bills, basic medical help, providing school stationery to their children and we are in conversation with a gas company to provide gas cylinders too.
